In Norway the electric bill have increased a lot the last couple of years. Mainly due to large cable exporting power from Norway to the UK and Germany. The only thing that used to be what we paid less for than Europe in general. Now the government subsidise the price, so when prices go above 5 usd cent pr kWh the government pays the difference. I think datacenters could be the the reason why, but also in Europe the lack of cheap russian gas keeps the prices high (and i benefit with dividends from Norwegian oil companies) We always use less power in the summer, Ac is not a big thing here. But in winter all the ovens go on full blast

In reply to InvestimentosComValor. Thank you! Honestly, I kind of fluctuate between having $60K-$80K in annual dividends to stop working at my job. But that is still many years in the future and there are lots of variables that could happen. We shall see. :)
