Depending on what the final deal is, I am thinking of selling the new company and reinvesting the proceeds back into T (which will probably still have a nice yield similar to VZ). Then whatever dividend income is lost after that, I will save and make up with additional purchases to replace the lost dividends. That is the tentative plan, but we will see what happens a year from now. :)

Nice work, MDD. So close to $700. Keep grinding and pushing those totals higher. You aren’t too far away from $12K in forward dividend income. I’m looking forward to you crossing that milestone.
Are you planning any portfolio adjustments to try to compensate for, or offset, the eventual reduction in T dividends?

I yearnb for the moment I can say that an off-month provies me with almost $700 in dividen income 😉

But that will probably take me another 5+ years! Great results MDD and again we share 6 companies!
