November 2017 Dividend Income

It is that time again! It’s time to post my month dividend income. It is always nice to come off an “off” month and into a more prosperous month for passive income. Hard to believe November 2017 is over and this is the last month before a new year begins. Just wow! This turned out to be a nice month in two ways. The first was that I had two 3 day weekends off from work plus the Thanksgiving Holiday. Isn’t it always nice to have days off from work and get paid for them. The second is that this month I received $747.31 in dividend income from 4 companies.

AT&T (T) – $135.24

Sprague Resources (SRLP) – $357.94

Omega Healthcare Investors (OHI) – $226.20

General Mills (GIS) – $27.93

November 2017 Dividend Income Total: $747.31

This month’s dividend income saw a 5.6 % increase from last quarter when I received $707.27 in dividend income. This month also shows a 9.4 % increase in dividend income since the beginning of the year (February 2017). I did not keep track of monthly dividends last year, so I cannot give an accurate year by year comparison. This was also my first time receiving dividends from GIS, so I am really happy about that.

Those are some nice growth rates for within the year. I must say, it has been really enlightening to track the percentage growth (which I never did before until I started this blog). It was be very interesting to see my year over year comparisons in January 2018. But this was an awesome month! Next month will be even better (possibly record-breaking). The dividend income I received this will be used to buy more quality dividend stocks from great companies as I continue to diversify and expand my portfolio. I will continue to build my dividend dynasty! How about the rest of you? How did you do this month? 🙂
