Yeah, I am hoping everything goes smoothly with the vaccine. Hopefully by the coming of Spring the pandemic will be behind us. We shall see. Thanks for stopping by! :)

There's definitely reason for optimism in 2021, though I think it'll be another bumpy ride. Obviously it's all about how quickly and effectively that vaccine rolls out, and the rest should take care of itself.

In reply to <a href="https://www.mydividenddynasty.com/the-years-end-and-nearing-the-11k-mark/#comment-2158">Simple Dividend Growth</a>.

Thanks Simple Dividend Growth. I also made some minor tweaks to my portfolio this Fall. Ultimately, we are making our portfolio's stronger and more resilient. I am hoping for a good 2021. I'm not sure what's beyond that light at the end of the tunnel, but I am hoping a beautiful meadow as opposed to another tunnel. We shall see. Best of luck to you as well. :)

2020 was definitely a good test for portfolio resiliency as I know of no investor that was prepared for an epidemic and economic shutdown. While my divvy income was down it did identify weakness in my portfolio.

As you stated, many DGI investors took advantage of lower prices and I for one repositioned a few holdings and picked up some new positions all the while increasing the durability of forward dividends.

I still have a little cash left to invest from now until the end of the year but until the bloom is off the rose of a COVID vaccine I'm hesitant buying shares at a market top. I just may carry the cash over to 2021 and like you not buy anything until then.

Not sure what 2021 is going to bring but it will be interesting to say the least. Looking forward to your new goals.

Best of Luck
