Recent Buys – UPS, MDT, CSCO, and TXN

Ah, my first stock purchases of 2023! Here are my recent buys – UPS, MDT, CSCO, and TXN.

Nobody knows that the stock market is going to do this year (or any year).

However, one thing I know is that I will keep on buying great companies and reinvesting my dividends into more great companies!

And without further ado, here are my recent buys!

Recent Buys

One purchase (TXN) was a new stock added to my portfolio. The other three buys (UPS, MDT, and CSCO) were adding on shares to stocks I already owned.

I’ll start with the new stock. I purchased 18 shares of TXN, which added $89.28 in forward dividend income to my portfolio.

Next, I purchased 5 shares of UPS, which added $30.40 in forward dividends. Thus, I now own a total of 25 shares of UPS.

Following that, I purchased 14 shares of MDT, which added $38.08 in forward dividend income. Therefore, I now own a total of 48 shares of MDT.

Finally, I bought 21 shares of CSCO, which added $31.92 in dividend income going forward. So, I now own a total of 67 shares of CSCO.

All in all, dividends added from these recent stock purchases totaled: $189.68

Conclusion

And thus concludes my recent buys – UPS, MDT, CSCO, and TXN.

I haven’t made any stock purchases since October of last year. It feels great to pull the trigger.

As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $13,748 in projected annual dividend income! Heck yeah!
