Recent Buys Plus the $15K Milestone

Time to report my recent stock buys plus the $15K milestone in dividends!

It is always nice to purchase more stocks and cross a new milestone.

I am very happy to report that I crossed the $15,000 mark in yearly dividend income.

It was a hard fought $15K too, especially with all of last year’s dividend cuts.

Nevertheless, I persevered. Consistency pays off (literally).

Now let’s get to my stock purchases.

I bought one new stock and added on to positions I already owned.

Stock Purchases

I made a new stock purchase last week! I bought 40 shares of Starbucks (SBUX).

Thus, SBUX came the 58th stock in my portfolio.

This purchase added $91.20 in yearly dividends to my portfolio.

Next, I bought 32 shares of ADM This added $64.00 in new dividend income.

I now own a total of 85 shares of ADM.

My next stock purchase was 10 shares of DUK. Thus adding $41.00 in dividend income.

Therefore, I now own 44 shares of DUK.

Lastly, I bought 6 shares of CVX, which added $39.12 in additional dividend income.

I now own 50 shares of CVX.

All in all, dividends gained from these recent stock purchases totaled: $235.32

Conclusion

And those are my recent buys plus the $15K milestone!

As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $15,064 in dividend income over the next 12 months.

What is the next milestone?

The next mark I want to achieve is the $18,000 milestone in yearly dividend income!

That would equal and average of $1,500 per month dividends!

Thus, that is my next target!
