We are beginning the new year with a bang by crossing $600K in net worth and making my first new stock buys of the year!
It has been quite a journey so far!
I am very happy to announce I crossed $600,000 in net worth for the first time. The value of all my assets adds up to over $600,000!

I remember, way back in October 2017 I crossed $250K in net worth.
Next, July 2019 that I crossed $300K and in August 2021 I crossed $400,000 mark in!
Lasty, in September 2024 I crossed $500K in net worth for the first time!
It is great to celebrate these milestones over the years.
How did I accomplish $600K in wealth?
No Debt and Minimalist

Well, half the battle is being debt free and living a minimalist lifestyle.
For example, I have no loans, no mortgage, and no credit cards.
I live in a studio apartment in NYC that I bought over 9 years ago and pay minimal housing costs (such as rent, maintenance, etc.)
In addition, I don’t even own a car (I walk to work and back each day) and use public transportation when needed.
I have no debts, therefore no liabilities.
Let less you owe, the more money you can save. This leads to the next phase of the battle.
Invest in Assets

When you have zero debt, you can steam roll the money you save into investments that will further compound and grow your wealth.
I have spent the last 10 years actively investing in the stock market (almost exclusively dividend paying stocks and I have re-invested those dividends).
While nothing is 100% guaranteed to go up in value, stocks and real estate have historically been hugely successful vehicles of growing one’s wealth.
In fact, since 1926, the average annual stock market return has been a little bit over 10%. Real estate (depending on the type) has shown similar average returns.
Grow your passive income and take advantage of compound interests over the years and decades!
As of this post, I have a stock portfolio of over $450,000 in value and earn over $17,000 a year in dividend income.
My growth in net worth has largely been driven by the increasing value of my stock portfolio over the last 10 years.
Recent Stock Buys

Now let us move on to my new stock buys!
This time I added two new stocks to my portfolio and built up another stock.
The market is still higher than ever, but I am still buying.
Nobody knows what the market will do tomorrow, a year from now, or 10 years from now.
Just keep on investing and growing that dividend snowball!
My recent stock purchases listed below:
- 12 Shares of ADP adding $81.60 in dividend income.
- 28 Shares of PRU adding $151.20 in dividend income.
- 3 Shares of HD adding $27.60 in dividend income.
All in all, dividends gained from these stock buys totaled: $260.40
PRU and ADP were new stocks added to my portfolio which now holds 65 stocks in total!
In terms of my 2026 goals, these buys allowed me to achieve the first tier:
I achieved the rank of Knight by crossing $17,250 in projected annual dividends!
This is awesome and lot’s of fun!
Conclusion

And so, I have happily crossed $600K in net worth and made my first new stock buys of the year!
Of course, in the short term, net worth will fluctuate.
But over the long-term I am confident my net worth will be leagues higher then today.
Thus, the journey continues!
As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $17,334.75 in dividend income over the next 12 months.
Moving right along to financial freedom; brick by brick, dollar by dollar!
