October 2021 Dividend Income

And just like that there are two months left in the year and it is time to post my October 2021 dividend income! I didn’t go trick or treating this Halloween, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t receive any treats. My treats came in the form of dividends. I would say dividends taste just as sweet as candy. In addition, on a really happy note, this past October I crossed the $12K mark in dividend income with my recent stock purchases. As a result, a really awesome milestone was achieved! I’m doing pretty well with my goals this year. But without further ado, for October 2021, I received $739.74 in dividend income from eleven (11) companies!

  • MPW – $252.00
  • STWD – $171.36
  • O – $44.37
  • GSK – 62.10
  • ITW – $18.30
  • CAH – 22.09
  • LEG – $42.42
  • EMN – $29.67
  • GPC – $28.53
  • PPL – $51.88
  • CSCO – $17.02

October 2021 Dividend Income Total: $739.74

Not a bad way to start the final quarter of the year. This month shows a 6.1% year over year increase compared with October 2020. While not double-digit growth, I will take it! Overall, it is great to register another $700 plus month and I am quite happy with October’s results. In addition, if I wanted, think of all the Halloween candy I could buy with this dividend income! That’s a lot of skittles, twizzlers, and KitKat bars. But now onto dividend increases!

      • VFC increased dividend to $0.50 per share, resulting in a $2.68 increase.
      • KTB increased dividend to $0.46 per share, resulting in a $2.16 increase.
      • ABBV increased dividend to $1.41 per share, resulting in a $14.52 increase.

All in all, dividend increases for October 2021 totaled $19.36!

Thus, this concludes my October 2021 Dividend Income! My portfolio is now set to generate $12,054 in dividend income over the next 12 months. Dividend growth investing works. Even the smallest amount of money can compound and grow enormously over time. Stick to your investment strategy and march towards your freedom! With the right mindset, financial independence is possible for anyone to achieve. I will continue to build my dividend dynasty, you can too!
