We are officially in the final quarter of 2021 and it is time to post my September 2021 dividend income! Earlier this month, I indirectly helped rescue a cat that fell down a concrete shaft just on the outside of my apartment building. I don’t know how long the cat was stuck down there, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t jump out. I only heard his cries from outside the basement window of my building as I was walking to the laundry room. After that, I called the buildings super. The next night the super found a wooden board which was placed in the shaft so the cat could get out.
Luckily, by the next day I saw the cat had used the board to get out. I saw the him laying down on the edge of the shaft just relaxing and waving his tail. Apparently, the cat didn’t learn it’s lesson to stay away from the shaft, lol. That cat was lucky I heard it, otherwise it may have died down there. Other than that, I closed the month by making some new stock purchases. The market dipped and I pulled the trigger. It felt great!
And now, without further ado, for September 2021, I received $1,492.28 in dividend income from twenty-six (26) companies!

September 2021 Dividend Income Total: $1,492.28
That is a new monthly record! I was very close to $1,500. Next time I will break that mark. Also, I received payments from a record number of companies paying me (26 stocks). This month’s dividend income shows a 14% year over year increase from September 2020. I will gladly take double digit growth. In addition, I received my first ever dividend payment from GILD. Overall, I am very happy with this month’s results. But now onto dividend increases!

- VZ increased dividend to $0.64 per share, resulting in a $6.20 increase.
- O increased dividend to $0.236 per share, resulting in a $1.13 increase.
- LMT increased dividend to $2.80 per share, resulting in a $7.20 increase.
- MCD increased dividend to $1.38 per share, resulting in a $25.69 increase.
All in all, dividend increases for September 2021 totaled $40.22!
Thus, this concludes my September 2021 Dividend Income. My portfolio is now set to generate $11,968 in dividend income over the next 12 months. I am right at the edge of crossing the $12K milestone. Therefore, my next post will likely be that I crossed that mark. This is going to be really awesome! This year I really pushed to achieve my highest goals. I made no major portfolio rebalances this year and as a result my portfolio simply snowballed the dividends without interruption. My dividend income continues to grow each year as I build my dividend dynasty!
