Recent Buys – LMT, AMGN, and STOR

We are ringing in 2002 with my recent buys – LMT, AMGN, and STOR. This has been a harrowing month. Between health issues to renovations to pest problems, I cannot wait for this month to be over and things to normalize again. I think I will discuss more of this when I post my January dividend income. For now, I want to talk about my recent buys! It is always nice to pull the trigger and purchase some new stocks. In this instance, I bought one new stock and added additional shares to two stocks I already own. Let’s get started!

My first purchase of 2022 was 90 shares of Store Capital Corp. (STOR). Thus, STOR has become the 50th stock in my portfolio and my first new stock of the new year! Hard to believe, but when I first started this blog, I only owned 12 stocks. This purchase added $138.60 in dividend income.

Next, I purchased 5 shares of LMT which added $56.00 in dividends. As a result of this purchase, I now own 14 shares of LMT which means a grand total of $156.80 in forward dividends.  Finally, I made a purchase of 9 shares of AMGN which added $69.84 in dividend income. Therefore, I now own a total of 18 shares of AMGN which means a grand total of $139.68 in forward dividend income.

All in all, my recent purchases added $264.44 in forward annual dividend income.

Now that’s what I call a nice chunk of change! Thus, that concludes my recent buys – LMT, AMGN, and STOR. I’ll keep this short, sweet, and to the point. My portfolio is now set to generate $12,396 in dividend income over the next 12 months. It is a nice start to achieving this year’s goals. I will continue to build my dividend dynasty!

So, what do you think of my recent buys? Do you own any of these stocks? Also, what other stocks have you been purchasing or looking to purchase? Let me know in the comments below!
