Recent Buys – T, VZ, and STOR

As one-third of the year is just about over, it is time to post my recent buys – T, VZ, and STOR! This is the second round of “recent buys” this month.

This round is more of a rebalancing from the T cut which reduced my dividend income by $449 in annual dividends. Most of the cut has now been recovered. Best of all, I ended up with more forward dividend income then when I started the month before the T cut.

To start this off, I ended up receiving 112 shares of the new Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). I sold that stock and used the proceeds to buy 142 shares of T. Thus, this purchase added $157.62 in forward dividend income. In total, I now own 605 shares of T. This means a grand total of $671.55 in yearly dividend income from T.

My next purchase was 37 shares of VZ. This purchase added $94.72 in dividend income. Therefore, I now own a total of 161 shares of VZ which means a grand total of $412.16 in annual dividend income going forward over the next 12 months.

My final purchase was 66 shares of STOR. This purchase added $101.64 in dividend income. Therefore, I now own a total of 156 shares of STOR which means a grand total of $240.24 in dividends per year going forward.

All in all, these recent stock purchases added $353.62 in new dividend income to my portfolio!

Thus, concludes my Recent Buys – T, VZ, and STOR! I’ll keep this one short and sweet. As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $12,662 in dividend income over the next 12 months. Considering I began the month with $12,067 in dividends after the T cut, this has been a pretty large jump forward in dividends. I think that is pretty awesome!

So, what do you think of my recent buys? Do you own any of these companies? Also, how are you handling the T cut? Let me know in the comments below!
